1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and test reports for odor classification of wood-based panels and their products, and describes the classification evaluation method.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18259-2018 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Wood-based panels
Wood or non-wood plant fiber materials are used as the main raw materials, processed into various material units, and applied (or not applied) adhesives and other additives.
Additives, made into plates or shaped products.
Note. Mainly includes plywood, particle board, fiberboard, etc.

Wood-based panel products
Products or components made by further processing of artificial boards as the main material.
Note. Mainly includes veneer artificial boards, wooden wall panels, wooden floors, wooden doors, wooden lines, wooden stairs and wooden home furnishing parts, etc.

Odor
The sensory characteristics perceived by the olfactory organs when smelling certain volatile substances.
4 Odor classification
4.1 Odor levels, descriptions and labeling requirements shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
