1 Scope
This standard specifies the composition, function, design principles and loading of the jacking platform of the jack-up rig (hereinafter referred to as the “slip system”).
Load calculation, design technical requirements and layout principles.
This standard is applicable to the design of the jacking and rolling sliding system of the jack-up drilling platform.

4.1 Composition
The slip system is mainly composed of a slip unit, a control unit and its accessories. The sliding unit consists of a push-pull hydraulic cylinder, a jack-up hydraulic cylinder, and a slip
