Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard uses the translation method identical with ISO 8843..2005 "aircraft electrical connector crimp removable contact identification system." The documents of our country that are consistent with the corresponding international documents that are normative references in this standard are as follows. --- GB/T 35852-2018 Conductor size and characteristics of aircraft general purpose cables and aerospace applications (ISO 2635..2003, IDT). This standard made the following editorial changes. --- Figure 1, in order to distinguish holes and color points, the latter empty circle (color point) to a solid circle; --- This standard incorporates the amendment ISO 8843..2005/Amd1..2012 the contents of the changes in the outer margin of the blank page The position is marked by a vertical double line (‖). This standard is proposed by China Aviation Industry Corporation. This standard by the National Aircraft Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC435) centralized. This standard was drafted. Aircraft electrical connector crimp removable contact identification system

1 Scope

This standard specifies the electrical connector crimp removable detachable contact identification. Marked by the outer diameter of the crimp cylinder composed of two ribbons, on the heat Galvanic or high temperature contacts, can add letters or color points. More code can also be used for identification to indicate other relevant parameters, such as matching cable specifications And materials. This standard specifies the contact identification applicable to the contact with the relevant international standards (ISO ). Preferred and non-preferred types of contact The use of pieces and logos are all recommended. The mating end of the preferred type contact has the same dimensions as the wires that the crimp barrel can hold. Not preferred The mating end of the contact and the crimping barrel can accommodate wires of different specifications in the matching range.

2 Normative references

The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this article Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document. ISO 2635 Aircraft General Cable and Aerospace Applications Conductor Size and Characteristics (Aircraft-Conductorsfor generalpurposeaircraftelectricalcablesandaerospaceapplications-Dimensionsandcharacteristics) IEC 60062 Resistors and capacitors identification code (Markingcodesforresistorsandcapacitors)

3 logo system

3.1 The contact shall be identified by two ribbons, with a nominal ribbon width of 1 mm, see Figure 1 and Table 1. Two ribbons indicate the following characteristics. --- Ribbon 1, marking the mating end of the contact specifications, but also shows the corresponding contact crimping tool locator and pick-up tools; --- Ribbon 2, marking and crimping cylinder matching conductor cross-sectional area. The preferred type of contact can also be a minimum width of 1mm monochrome tape logo. The colors used should comply with the provisions of IEC 60062. 3.2 Thermocouple contacts shall also be marked on the end of the crimp barrel as specified in a) or b) below. a) letter code. --- CR. nickel chromium; --- AL. nickel aluminum; --- FE. iron; --- CN. copper and nickel; --- CT. copper Tellurium; or others. b) The color point, color and location are shown in Table 1 and Figure 1. 3.3 high temperature contacts should also be used color point logo, color and location in Table 1 and Figure 1. The contacts can also be identified on the non-mating end of the manufacturer, the location selected by the manufacturer.
