This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YS/T 235-2007 "Molybdenum Concentrate".
Compared with YS/T 235-2007, the main changes in this standard are as follows.
--- Added KMo-55 brand;
--- Adjusted the content of impurity elements such as P, As, SiO2;
--- Increased the content of impurity elements such as C and K;
--- Increased the sampling and packaging requirements for ton bagging.
This standard was proposed and managed by the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC243).

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and contracts (or contract

This standard applies to the molybdenum concentrate produced by flotation, for the production of roasted molybdenum concentrate, ferromolybdenum alloy, molybdate, molybdenum disulfide, etc.

3 Requirements
3.1 Product Classification
The molybdenum concentrate is divided into six brands of KMo-57, KMo-55, KMo-53, KMo-51, KMo-49, and KMo-47 according to different molybdenum content.
No. and recommended uses are shown in Table 1.
Example. KMo-57 represents molybdenum concentrate with a Mo content of not less than 57%.

KMo-49 is used to produce roasted molybdenum concentrate and ferromolybdenum alloy
KMo-47 is used to produce ferro-molybdenum alloy and roasted molybdenum concentrate
