3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Rowing
The boat is shaped like a weaving shuttle. There are movable seats in the cabin. The oars are placed on the oar bolts of the oar rack. The oar rack stretches out on both sides of the boat. The oarsmen move forward with their backs facing each other.
The direction is stroked with the paddle pin as the axis.
3.2
lengthofboat
The distance from the leading edge of the bow (including the safety ball) to the trailing edge of the stern.
Note. The unit is meters (m).
3.3
breadthofboat
The maximum width between the outer chords on both sides of the hull (excluding seaboards).

The maximum vertical distance between the centerline of the bottom of the boat and the sheer line.

oar lock angle
The angle between the working surface of the propeller bolt and the vertical line.
Note. This angle includes the longitudinal angle and transverse angle of the propeller bolt.

oarlockheight
When the sliding seat is in the lowest position, the vertical distance between the propeller bolt and the lowest part of the sliding seat.
