Summary
This standard specifies the general principles for the selection of oil well pipes in the exploration and development of oil and gas, the selection of oil well pipes under different working conditions, and the performance and quality control of oil well pipe materials. Unless otherwise specified, well tubulars mentioned in this standard include casing, tubing, liners, light pipes, drill pipes, drill collars, weighted drill pipes, short sections and couplings (including blanks). This standard applies to the selection of oil and gas industry oil well pipes.
