1 Scope
This standard specifies dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, and phthalate in imported and exported cosmetics.
Diisoamyl formate, bis(2-methoxy)ethyl phthalate, n-pentyl isoamyl phthalate, diamyl phthalate, ortho-benzene
Determination of butyl benzyl formate and di(2-ethyl)hexyl phthalate by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
This standard applies to the determination and confirmation of the content of phthalate compounds in liquids, creams and solid cosmetics.

3 method summary
The phthalate compound in the sample is extracted with n-hexane, diluted directly according to the matrix type or purified by gel permeation chromatography.

4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents used were of analytical grade and the water was the first grade water specified in GB/T 6682.
4.1 hexane, pesticide level.
4.2 ethyl acetate, pesticide residue level.
4.3 cyclohexane, pesticide residue grade.
4.4 Acetone, pesticide residue level.
4.5 Ethyl acetate-cyclohexane (1, by volume). An equal volume of ethyl acetate (4.2) and cyclohexane (4.3) were combined.
4.6 Standard. dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, diisoamyl phthalate, o-benzene
Di(2-methoxy)ethyl formate, n-pentyl isoamyl phthalate, diamyl phthalate, butyl benzyl phthalate, o-benzene
The di(2-ethyl)hexyl dicarboxylate has a purity of greater than or equal to 99%. See Appendix A for the English name and CAS number of each substance.
4.7 Standard stock solution. accurately weigh the appropriate amount of each standard (accurate to 0.1mg), and prepare a concentration of 100μg/mL with n-hexane (4.1).
Standard stock solution. Store at 0 ° C ~ 5 ° C.
4.8 Mixed standard working solution. The standard stock solution (4.7) is diluted with n-hexane to obtain a concentration of 0.01 μg/mL and 0.05 μg/mL.
