1 Scope
This standard specifies the HPLC method for the determination of azodicarbonamide in plastics and rubber materials.
This standard is applicable to the determination of azodicarbonamide content in plastics and rubber materials. The measurement range is from 5.0mg/kg to 2400.0mg/kg.

3 method summary
After the sample was freeze-pulverized, it was ultrasonically extracted with a dimethyl sulfoxide-acetone solution (25 975, volume ratio), and a certain amount of the extract was rotated.
The evaporator was steamed to near dryness, and the volume was adjusted with acetonitrile, filtered through a 0.45 μm filter, and analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography, and quantified by an external standard method.
4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used were of analytical grade and the water was the first grade water specified in GB/T 6682.
4.1 Azodicarbonamide (C2H4N4O2, CAS No.. 123-77-3) Standard. Purity greater than 99.0% (mass fraction).
4.2 Acetone. chromatographically pure.
4.3 Acetonitrile. Chromatographically pure.
4.4 Dimethyl sulfoxide.
4.5 Ammonium acetate. chromatographically pure.
4.6 Dimethyl sulfoxide-acetone solution (25 975, volume ratio). accurately transfer 25 mL of dimethyl sulfoxide (4.4), add 975 mL of acetone
(4.2), mixing evenly.
4.7 Ammonium acetate solution (20mmol/L). Weigh 1.54g of ammonium acetate (4.5, accurate to 0.01g), dissolve in water and dilute to 1000mL,

4.8 Azodicarbonamide standard stock solution (1.0mg/mL). Accurately weigh the appropriate amount of azodicarbonamide standard (4.1) with dimethyl

4.9 Preparation of azodicarbonamide standard working solution. Pipette an appropriate volume of azodicarbonamide standard stock solution (4.8) with acetonitrile (4.3)
