1 Scope
This part of SN/T 4743 stipulates the procedures, contents and requirements for quarantine outside the international equestrian events.
This section applies to overseas quarantine of horses going to China to participate in international equestrian events and returning to the country after the game.

3 Preparation before quarantine
3.1 Prepare an overseas quarantine work plan.
3.2 Review of the People's Republic of China Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit and collect and collate information on on-site field visits to overseas horse isolation sites

4 Offshore isolation and quarantine
4.1 In accordance with the bilateral protocol, work with the veterinarian of the competent authority of the exporting country/region to agree on a specific quarantine work plan. Understanding exporting countries/regions

4.6 Assist the official veterinarian in the exporting country to check the clinical health status of the horses one by one, and start quarantine after no abnormality.
4.7 Understand whether the horse owner or athlete's requirements for horse care, training or welfare are in compliance with bilateral protocols or quarantine requirements.
4.8 Assist the official veterinarian of the exporting country/region to conduct a laboratory test of the participating horses in accordance with the protocol or quarantine hygiene requirements.
4.9 During the segregation period, it shall be confirmed that the horse has been vaccinated in accordance with the requirements of the Protocol and approved by the veterinary authority of the exporting country/region.
