Determination of formaldehyde content in the import and export of leather1 ScopeThis standard specifies the method for determination of formaldehyde content in the import and export of leather.
This standard applies to the determination of the import and export of leather and its products formaldehyde content.2 Normative referencesThe following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent
Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research
Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.
Preparation of GB/T 601 chemical reagent standard titration solution3 ReagentsUnless otherwise specified, reagents were of analytical grade, water-cooled boiled 10min ultrapure water.
3.1 formaldehyde solution, 36% to 38%.
3.2 0.05mol/L of iodine (12i2
) Solution. Weigh 6.36g of pure iodine and 20g potassium iodide, first dissolved in a little water, then diluted to
1000mL.
3.3 1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution.
3.4 1mol/L sulfuric acid solution (12H2SO4
).
3.5 0.1000mol/L sodium thiosulfate standard solution. According to GB/T 601 formulation.
3.6 1% starch solution. 1g starch dissolved in 100mL of water, the time is now equipped with.
3.7 formaldehyde standard stock solution preparation and calibration.
Draw 5mL formaldehyde solution (3.1) in 100mL of water containing about 1000mL volumetric flask with water to volume, shake. this
Solution of formaldehyde standard stock solution concentration of about 2mg/mL, built-in refrigerator (2 ℃ ~ 8 ℃) stable for three months.
Imbibe formaldehyde stock solution 10.0mL in 250mL iodometric flask, 50.0mL iodine solution (3.2), 15mL of sodium hydroxide
Solution (3.3), mixing, placing 15min ± 1min room temperature. Then while rotating roll while adding 20mL sulfuric acid solution (3.4), mix, then place
15min. When sodium thiosulfate solution (3.5) titrate drop to pale yellow solution, add 1mL starch solution (3.6) and continue titration
Just fade to blue, write down the amount (Vp 1).
Meanwhile, 10.0mL water instead of formaldehyde stock solution with the method blank test, write down the amount of sodium thiosulfate solution (V0).
The concentration of formaldehyde standard stock solution (mg/mL), according to equation (1).
Ba FA =
(Vp Vp 0- 1) × Ba 1 × MFA/2
10.0
(1)
Where.
Ba FA --- formaldehyde standard stock solution concentration, in milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL);
V0 --- blank solution of sodium thiosulfate consumption;
Vp 1 --- sample consumption of sodium thiosulfate solution;
Ba 1 --- sodium thiosulfate solution concentration units per liter (mol/L);
--- The MFA molar mass of formaldehyde, per mole of the unit of 30.08 g (30.08g/mol);
