3 Principle
The caffeine in the cosmetics was ultrasonically extracted with methanol, centrifuged, and the supernatant was filtered, and determined by a liquid chromatograph equipped with a UV detector.
Qualitative according to its retention time, quantified by the standard working curve method.
4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used were of analytical grade and the water was ultrapure water.
4.1 Methanol. excellent grade or chromatographically pure.
4.2 Standard. caffeine. purity ≥ 99.5%.
4.3 Caffeine standard stock solution (500mg/L). accurately weigh 0.05g caffeine, accurate to 0.0001g, in 50mL beaker, use
