Skin care cream
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the classification, requirement, test method, inspection
rule and marking, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of skin care
cream.
This Standard applies to emulsified creams which have a certain consistency
that moisturize the human skin (or mainly moisturize the human skin and have
a modification effect).

3 Classification
According to the emulsification type, it is divided into oil-in-water type (o/w) and
water-in-oil type (w/o).
It shall meet the requirements of “Measures for the Supervision and
Administration of Measurement of Quantitative Packaging Commodities” --
State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine –
[2005] Order No.75.
4.4 Packaging appearance
It shall comply with regulations of QB/T 1685.
5 Test method
5.1 Sensory
5.1.1 Appearance
Take the sample and smear it on the skin; observe it visually under room
temperature and direct sunlight.
5.1.2 Aroma
Take the sample and smell it to identify.
5.2 Physical-chemical
5.2.1 pH
Measure according to the method that is specified in GB/T 13531.1 (dilution
method).
5.2.2 Heat-resistant (o/w)
5.2.2.1 Instrument
Constant-temperature incubator: temperature control accuracy is ±1°C.
5.2.2.2 Operating procedures
Adjust the constant-temperature incubator to 40°C in advance; place a
completely packed sample in the constant-temperature incubator. Take it out
after 24 h; return to room temperature; observe visually.
5.2.3 Heat-resistant (w/o)
5.2.3.1 Instrument
5.2.3.1.1 Constant-temperature incubator: temperature control accuracy is
±1°C.
