1 Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, sample preparation and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the determination of chloramphenicol residues in animal-derived foods. This standard is applicable to screening tests for chloramphenicol residues in chicken meat, pork, shrimp and casings. Other methods must be used for positive results. Confirmation.

2 sampling and sample preparation
