Part 4. Radiant heaters
1 Scope
This part of SN/T 1589 specifies the requirements, inspection and determination of the inlet and outlet radiant heaters.
This section deals with the safety of radiant heaters for household and similar purposes. The rated voltage of single-phase appliances does not exceed 250V; other appliances
The rated voltage does not exceed 480V.
Radiant heaters that are not used as general households but are still dangerous to the public, such as unfamiliar in shops, light industry and farms
Radiant heaters used by electrical knowledge are also included in the scope of this section.
In practical terms, this section deals with the general hazards of appliances that are common to all people in the home and in the surrounding environment.
