1 Scope

This standard specifies the clinical symptoms and pathological changes of chicken bursal disease, virus isolation and identification, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, real-time Fluorescence reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, direct immunofluorescence assay, agar gel immunodiffusion assay, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. This standard applies to the diagnosis and quarantine of Type I bursal disease in chickens entering and exiting the country.

3 Diagnostic Technology
