Testing method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the sampling, sample preparation and liquid chromatographic methods for the determination of benzoic acid and sorbic acid in imported and exported fermented bean curd.
This standard applies to the test of benzoic acid and sorbic acid content in the import and export of fermented bean curd.
2 sampling and sample preparation
2.1 Inspection lot
Take the inspection batch as an inspection lot. Products of the same inspection lot should have the same characteristics, such as packaging, marking, origin, production lot number and
grade.
2.2 Number of samples
The number of samples is shown in Table 1.

2.3 Sampling method

3 Determination method
3.1 Method summary
After the sample was precipitated by ammonium chloride solution and dilute phosphoric acid, the filtrate was passed through a Sep-pak activated carbon column and rinsed with 10% acetone solution.
The acetone was eluted, the eluate was concentrated, and the mobile phase was fixed. HPLC analysis at 230 nm wavelength was performed by external standard method.
3.2 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents were of analytical grade and the water was ultrapure water.
3.2.1 Methanol. Liquid chromatography grade reagent.
3.2.2 Phosphoric acid. ≥ 85%.
3.2.3 Condensate. 5 g of ammonium chloride and 10 mL of phosphoric acid are dissolved in 1000 mL of distilled water.
3.2.4 Acetone.
