Inbound and outbound raw sugar quarantine regulations
1 Scope
This standard specifies the sampling, quarantine methods and results assessment of raw and exported raw sugar.
This standard applies to plant quarantine of inbound and outbound raw sugar.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Sugar cane and sugar beet are used as raw materials, and processed by pressing and cleaning to make raw sugar which is not directly consumed.
3 Quarantine preparation
3.1 Review documents
--- Review the inspection documents and understand whether there are quarantine requirements in the terms of the trade contract (or letter of credit);
--- For the entry of raw sugar, understand the epidemic situation of the place of origin, clear the focus of quarantine;
--- For the export of raw sugar, understand the quarantine requirements of the importing country or region.
3.2 Instruments and apparatus
3.2.1 Biological microscopes and stereo microscopes.
3.2.2 Low speed centrifuge.
3.2.3 Ordinary balance. the sensitivity is 1/100.
3.2.4 Erlenmeyer flask. 300 mL, 1000 mL.
