This standard specifies a dry screening test method for determining the particle size composition of metal powders.
This standard applies to dry, lubricant-free metal powders. It is not suitable for metal powders with obviously anisometric shapes, such as flake powder.

Principle
A set of woven mesh test sieves are arranged in order according to the size of the sieve holes, and the metal powder is divided into different grains by a vibration test sieve.
