This Document is Part 1 of GB/T 6003 Test Sieves – Technical Requirements and Testing. GB/T 6003 has published the following parts: --- Part 1: Test Sieves of Metal Wire Cloth; --- Part 2: Test Sieves of Perforated Metal Plate; --- Part 3: Test Sieves of Electroformed Sheets. This Document replaced GB/T 6003.1-2012 Test Sieves – Technical Requirements and Testing – Part 1: Test Sieves of Metal Wire Cloth. Compared with GB/T 6003.1-2012, the major technical changes of this Document are as follows besides the structural adjustments and editorial modifications: --- Delete the relevant provisions of “unit” (see 4.2 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the relevant provisions of aperture size deviation, aperture size limit deviation, average aperture size deviation and maximum standard deviation (see 5.1.1 of this Edition; 5.1.1 of 2012 Edition); --- Increase the description and calculation formula of the maximum standard deviation σ0 (see 5.1.1.4 of this Edition); --- Change the expression of the predicted standard deviation value; and change the "predicted standard deviation value" into "the estimated standard deviation value" (see 5.1.1.4 of this Edition; 5.1.1.4 of 2012 Edition); --- Delete the recommended materials (see 5.1.2.4 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the general requirements (see 5.2.1 of this Edition; 5.2.1 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the expression of the detection of the aperture size limit deviation X (see 5.2.3 of this Edition; 5.2.3 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the relevant provisions of the sampling instructions in the measurement of the average aperture size 𝑤ഥ , the average aperture size deviation Y, the maximum standard deviation σ0 and the wire diameter d (see 5.2.4 of this Edition; 5.2.4 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the relevant provisions of the test sieve frame (see Clause 6 of this Edition; Clause 6 of 2012 Edition); --- Change the relevant provisions on the identification of test sieves (see Clause 7 of this Edition; Clause 8 of 2012 Edition). This Document modified and adopted ISO 3310-1:2016 Test Sieves – Technical Requirements and Testing – Part 1: Test Sieves of Metal Wire Cloth. Compared with ISO 3310-1:2016, this Document made the following structural adjustments: --- 5.2.1 corresponds to 5.2 overview in ISO 3310-1:2016; and 5.2.2~5.2.4 corresponds to 5.2 "Test 1" to "Test 3" in ISO 3310-1:2016. There are technical differences between this Document and ISO 3310-1:2016; and the clauses involved in these differences have been marked by a vertical single line (│) in the outer margin of the Document. The technical differences and their causes are as follows: --- Replace ISO 2395:1990 with the normative reference GB/T 5329; and revise the degree of consistency between the two documents to adapt to the technical conditions of China; --- Replace ISO 565:1990 with the normative reference GB/T 6005-2008; and revise the degree of consistency between the two documents to adapt to the technical conditions of China; --- Delete 4.2; merge relevant content with 5.1; and merge the same description content; --- Add examples of test sieve markings, standardizing product identification. It applies to test sieves having aperture sizes from 125 mm down to 20μm, in accordance with GB/T 6005-2008. 2 Normative References The provisions in following documents become the essential provisions of this Document through reference in this Document. ISO 2591-1:1988 Test Sieving – Part 1: Methods Using Test Sieves of Woven Cloth and Perforated Metal Plate 3 Terms and Definitions For the purposes of this Document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5329 and the following apply. 3.1 Test sieve < Particle size analysis> measuring instrument used for sieving. NOTE: ISO/IEC Guide 99:2007 defines a “measuring instrument” as a device used for making measurements, alone or in conjunction with one or more supplementary devices. 4 Markings 4.1 The marking of test sieve of metal wire cloth consists of sieve frame size, basic aperture size, and metal wire diameter (referred to as “wire diameter”). EXAMPLE 1: The marking of test sieve of metal wire cloth with sieve frame size of ϕ200mm × 50mm, basic aperture size of 90mm and metal wire diameter of 6.3mm is as follows: ϕ200mm × 50mm-90/6.3 GB/T 6003.1- 2022.
