Preface
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces SN/T 0944-2000 "Indigo test method for export of frozen shrimp and shrimp products".
Compared with SN/T 0944-2000, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- modified standard name (see title).
--- delete the preamble "This standard also developed a sampling and sample preparation method" (2000 edition of the preface);
- change the range to "shrimp and shrimp" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2000 edition);
- modified normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2000 edition);
- the definition, sampling and sample preparation (Chapter 3, Chapter 4 of the.2000 edition);
--- increase the second method of high performance liquid chromatography.

Determination of Indole Content in Export Shrimp and Shrimp
1 Scope
This standard specifies the shrimp and shrimp dry indole content of spectrophotometry and high performance liquid chromatography detection method.
This standard applies to the determination of indole content in shrimp and shrimp.

3 principle
The indole in the sample was distilled off by steam distillation, extracted with chloroform, and the developer was shaken. The acid layer was separated,

4 reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, all reagents are of analytical grade and water is a Grade I water in accordance with GB/T 6682.
4.1 anhydrous ethanol.
4.2 Phosphoric acid (H3PO4).
4.3 concentrated hydrochloric acid (HCl).
4.4 Defoamer. Polyether.
4.5 saturated sodium sulfate.
4.6 Trichloromethane (CHCl3).
4.7 Reagent. p-Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, purity greater than or equal to 98.0%.
Preparation of the developer. Dissolve 0.4 g of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in 5 mL of acetic acid, add 92 mL of phosphoric acid and 3 mL of hydrochloric acid.
Since the purity of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde affects the strength of the reagent blank, if the reagent is yellow, it is purified as follows.
To dissolve 100 g of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in 600 mL of hydrochloric acid (16), add 300 mL of water, slowly stirring with stirring
10% sodium hydroxide solution precipitation of dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, a white precipitate, stop adding sodium hydroxide solution, filter, discard the precipitate. Following
