1 Scope
SN/T 0801 This section provides two methods for determining export animal fat unsaponifiable matters. ether extraction and petroleum ether extract

This section applies to diethyl ether extraction of unsaponifiable matter content higher than ordinary animal fats oil, especially for marine oils, are also suitable

Unsaponifiables unsaponifiablematter
Animal fats are saponified but not soluble in common solvents fat substances include higher fatty alcohols, sterols, pigments and multi-carbon alkanes.
