1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of export coal tar quinoline insolubles content filtration method.

Certain quality coal tar sample was dissolved in hot quinoline, filtered, dried and weighed to calculate the content of insolubles in mass fraction

4 Reagents
4.1 quinoline, AR.
4.2 toluene, AR.
4.3 acetone, AR.
4.4 hydrochloric acid. chemically pure, dubbed aqueous solution of 1.1.
4.5 diatomaceous earth. pure chemistry, particle diameter of about 0.125mm (120 mesh), and dried prior to testing 2h at 105 ℃ ± 1 ℃.
Warning --- toxic and flammable reagents, the operation should isolate the source of fire and in a fume hood.
5. Apparatus
5.1 dryer.
5.2 pump. 1400r/min.
5.3 suction bottle. the volume of 1000mL.
5.4 glass beaker. the volume of 100mL, before the test and dried at 105 ℃ ± 1 ℃ to constant weight.
5.5 Analysis of balance. a sense of the amount of 0.1mg.
5.6 electric oven.
5.7 constant temperature water bath. bath temperature control 75 ℃ ± 5 ℃.
5.8 glass crucible filter (referred to as the filter). P7 (G4), the volume of 25mL ~ 40mL, prior to the test at 105 ℃ ± 1 ℃ dried to constant weight.
Step 6 Analysis
6.1 Weigh about 1.0g dried diatomaceous earth, put a clean filter (5.8) and immediately weighed to the nearest 0.0001g.
