1 Scope

This standard specifies the definition, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements of propolis. This standard applies to the production, processing and sales of propolis.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1 Propolis propolis The bees collect the secretions from the branches, leaf buds and callus of the plant and the secretions of the upper parotid gland and wax glands with a small amount of pollen.
