1 Scope
This document specifies the design, drilling process, well completion process, engineering quality, completion acceptance and other technical work of large-diameter drilling in coal mines.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Coal mines are large-diameter wells for special purposes such as gangue feeding, gas drainage, and nitrogen injection.
3.2
Large diameter well
Drilling holes with diameter ≥400mm. According to the diameter and depth of large-diameter wells, large-diameter well engineering can be divided into the following three grades.
a) Complex. the diameter of the completed well is ≥1200mm, or the depth is ≥700m;
b) Medium-sized. well diameter ≥ 650mm and < 1200mm, or depth ≥ 400m and < 700m;
c) Simple. well diameter < 650mm, or depth < 400m.
