Summary This standard specifies the petroleum distillate boiling range distribution method. This standard applies to the initial boiling point at atmospheric pressure is higher than 174C and the final boiling point of less than 700C (C10 to C90) of petroleum fractions. 1. 2 standard is not used to determine the fraction containing low molecular weight (such as naphtha, reformate, gasoline, crude oil) petroleum or petroleum products. Compounds containing other impurities child (such as alcohols, ethers, acids or cool class) or residual substances can not be measured by this standard. Determination of such substances can see Method SH/T 0558, ASTM D3710 or ASTM D5307. Contains a large number of non-alkanes substance use will produce the standard deviation of measurement (see Appendix A). 1. 3 standard adopts the International System of Units (SI) units. 1. 4 This standard did not have all of the safety issues involved in making recommendations. Therefore, before using this standard, the user should establish appropriate safety and protective measures and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations related.
