1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, inspection requirements, inspection rules, and labeling and packaging of pressurized anti-corrosion treated glulam.
Loading, transportation and storage.
This document applies to glulam that has been pressurized with water-borne preservatives or organic solvent-based preservatives.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 14019-2009 and GB/T 50708-2012 apply to this document.
3.1
Structural laminated timber (Glulam)
The wood products are laminated and glued along the grain direction with boards with a thickness of 20 to 45 mm. Also called plywood, or structural

3.2
Laminate laminations
Each layer of board that constitutes pressurized anti-corrosion treatment glulam.
3.3
Preservative pressure treatment
In a closed container, under certain pressure, the anti-corrosion treatment of laminates or glulam.
3.4
Exposed sapwood
The sapwood along the length or cross section of glulam has at least two adjacent surfaces exposed to the air at the same time (Figure 1).

3.5
Penetration
The degree of penetration of the preservative (active ingredient) into the wood, including the depth of penetration of the preservative into the wood and the penetration rate of the preservative in the sapwood.

4 categories
According to the final use environment and exposure conditions of pressurized anti-corrosion treatment of glulam, as well as the biodegradation factor under different environmental conditions, the effect of pressurization
The hazard degree of rot-treated glulam wood is classified into five categories. C1, C2, C3.1, C3.2, and C4.1.(See Table 1).
5 requirements
5.1 Raw material requirements
5.1.1 Shelves
The same tree species or different tree species with similar wood properties, good permeability and easy to do anti-corrosion treatment should be used as the laminate. All laminates
The difference in moisture content should be < 5%. The quality of the laminate should meet the requirements of GB/T 26899-2011.
5.1.2 Adhesive
Should meet the requirements of GB/T 50708-2012.
5.1.3 Preservatives
Should meet the requirements of GB/T 27654.
5.1.4 Physical and mechanical properties
It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 26899-2011, GB 50005, and GB 50206.
5.2 Product quality requirements
5.2.1 Appearance quality
The surface of pressurized anti-corrosion treatment glulam should have no visible deposits of antiseptic, and no obvious defects such as cracks, twists, and bends.
5.2.2 Moisture content
The moisture content of pressurized anti-corrosion treatment glulam should be between 8% and 15% in the north and between 8% and 18% in the south.
It can also be agreed by both parties.
5.2.3 Physical and mechanical properties
The physical and mechanical properties of pressurized anti-corrosion treatment glulam shall meet the requirements of GB/T 26899.
5.2.4 Drug loading
The loading capacity of commonly used preservatives for pressurized preservative treatment of glulam should meet the requirements of Table 2.The loading capacity of other preservatives should comply with GB/T 27651

Note. NR means it is not recommended.
5.2.5 Penetration
5.2.5.1 Category C1
The penetration rate of the preservative in the exposed sapwood should be ≥85%, and there is no requirement for the heartwood.
5.2.5.2 Category C2
5.2.5.3 C3.1, C3.2 category
The penetration rate of the preservative in the exposed sapwood should be ≥90% and meet one of the following conditions.
1) Glulam thickness ≤35 mm, preservative penetration on the exposed surface or end of the heartwood ≥5 mm; Glulam thickness >35 mm, preservative
Penetrate ≥ 8 mm on the exposed surface or end of the heartwood.
2) When preservatives are allowed to not penetrate the heartwood, it should be satisfied at the same time. In each laminate, the area of the heartwood (S1) is smaller than the area of the end face of the laminate (S1 S2)
The depth (L1) does not exceed 50% of the end surface distance (L2), and the width (L3) does not exceed 50% of the distance between the two sides of the end surface (L4) (Figure
3).

5.2.5.4 Category C4.1
The penetration rate of the preservative in the sapwood should be ≥90% and meet one of the following conditions.
1) The preservative penetrates ≥10 mm on the exposed surface or end of the core material of each laminate;
2) When allowing preservatives not to penetrate into the heartwood, it should be satisfied at the same time. In each laminate, the area of the heartwood (S1) is smaller than the area of the end face of the laminate (S1 S2)
The depth (L1) does not exceed 50% of the end surface distance (L2), and the width (L3) does not exceed 50% of the distance between the two sides of the end surface (L4) (Figure

6.1 Sampling method and quantity
6.1.1 Appearance quality
According to GB/T 17659.2-2018 regulations.
6.1.2 Water content
Cut two specimens of appropriate size from 10 mm to 50 mm in the length direction of the pressurized anticorrosive glulam.
6.1.3 Physical and mechanical properties
The sampling method and quantity shall be carried out in accordance with 5.6 of GB/T 26899-2011.
6.1.4 Drug loading and penetration
1) For glulam that has been pressurized and preserved before gluing, if the processing volume of each batch of glulam is less than 5 m3, 5 samples should be taken. Each batch of glulam
When the processing volume is greater than or equal to 5 m3, 10 samples are taken. One sample is drilled from the side of the plate where the inner layer of each sample is extended.
2) For glulam treated with anticorrosive treatment after gluing, when the batch glulam processing volume is less than 5 m3, 5 samples should be taken. Processing capacity of each batch of glulam
When ≥5 m3, take 10 samples. Randomly drill a sample from each sample, and drill one test piece from each block.
3) After the sample is drilled, the non-testing wood core of the same tree species, the same treatment level or higher treatment level should be used to fill the hole back to the borehole.
6.2 Inspection
6.2.1 Appearance quality
According to GB/T 17659.2-2018 regulations.
6.2.2 Water content
Carry out in accordance with the provisions of 5.2 in GB/T 26899-2011.
6.2.3 Physical and mechanical properties
According to GB/T 26899-2011 in 5.3, 5.4 regulations.
6.2.4 Drug loading and penetration
The drug loading and penetration of water-borne preservatives in the pressurized preservative treatment of glulam shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 23229-2009, organic solvents
The drug loading and penetration of type preservatives in pressurized preservative treated glulam shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 33021-2016.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection classification
7.1.1 Factory inspection
The factory inspection items include. appearance quality, moisture content, drug loading and penetration.
7.1.2 Type inspection
Type inspection items include all indicators in this document.
During normal production, the type inspection shall not be less than once every six months; when one of the following situations occurs, the type inspection shall be carried out.
1) When the raw and auxiliary materials and production process undergo major changes;
2) When production has been suspended for more than three months and production is resumed;
3) When the quality supervision department proposes type inspection requirements.
7.2 Judgment rules
7.2.1 Appearance quality
According to GB/T 17659.2-2018 regulations.
7.2.2 Moisture content
In the northern region, the test result is in the range of 8% to 15%; in the southern region, the test result is in the range of 8% to 18%.
7.2.3 Physical and mechanical properties
Determined in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 26899, GB 50005, and GB 50206.
7.2.4 Drug loading and penetration
1) Determined in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 27651.
2) The pass rate of the test results should not be less than 80%.
3) If it is unqualified, it can be re-inspected, but sampling should be doubled, and the pass rate should not be less than 80%.
7.3 Comprehensive judgment
When the raw materials and product quality of the samples are in accordance with the requirements of 5.1 and 5.2 of this document, the batch of products shall be judged to be qualified, otherwise

8 Identification, packaging, transportation and storage
8.1 Identification
It should meet the requirements of LY/T 1925.
8.2 Packaging
Products should be packaged separately according to product category and specifications when leaving the factory. It can also be determined based on negotiation between the supplier and the demander.
8.3 Transportation and storage
Products should be stacked flat during transportation and storage to prevent rain and sun exposure.
