3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15781 apply to this document.
4 Forest tending principles
On the basis of the principles stipulated in GB/T 15781, it should also follow.
a) Reasonably clean up shrubs, vines and weeds that affect the growth of forest trees, and take into account the conservation of biodiversity;
b) Make full use of tending and harvesting residues to improve the utilization of forest resources;
c) Reasonably determine the time and interval of tending operations.
5 Forest classification and classification
When designing the tending work, the small-sized forest trees should be classified or classified according to the relevant provisions of GB/T 15781.

The tree age and age group division of Changbai Mountain forest area shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T 15781 and GB/T 26424, as shown in Table A.1.
