This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces LY/T 1509-2008 "Hardwood tree original strip". Compared with LY/T 1509-2008, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows. -Change the title "Broad leaves tree poles" to "Broad-leaved tree poles"; -Revised the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition); -Removed "size classification" in technical requirements (see Chapter 4, 4.2 of the.2008 edition); -The allowable limit of trauma defects has been modified (see Table 1, Table 2 of the.2008 edition); -Added sampling method (see 5.1). 1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, sampling and inspection methods, product marking and volume calculation of the original broadleaf tree. This standard applies to the production, sales, and distribution of broadleaf trees in the northeast and Inner Mongolia forest areas.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 Dimensions 4.1.1 Tip diameter 6cm ～ 12cm (6cm is full foot size). 4.1.2 Ruler length From more than 5m. It is graded by 1m, and the length less than 1m is rounded off from the tip, and the length after rounding off is the length of the ruler. 4.1.3 Caliper diameter From 8cm above. It is graded at 2cm. If it is less than 2cm, it is graded at 1cm and rounded up if it is less than 1cm. 4.2 Material index There are one grade, two grades, and their material indexes are shown in Table 1.
