This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces JG/T 25-1999 “Test Method for Resistance to Freeze-Thaw Cycling of Architectural Coatings”. Compared with JG/T 25-1999, mainly

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Temperature change resistance temperaturechangeresistance
The coating is subjected to the ability to alternately change the temperature of the hot and cold to maintain its original properties.
4 Instruments and Equipment
4.1 Cryobox. The temperature is controlled within the range of (-20 ± 2) °C.
4.2 Incubator. The temperature is controlled within the range of (50 ± 2) °C.
4.3 constant temperature water tank. temperature control within (23 ± 2) °C range.
4.4 Balance. Weighing range 500g, sense of volume 0.01g.
5 Test plate preparation and maintenance
5.1 Sampling
Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3186.
5.2 Test substrate
5.2.1 Non-asbestos cement slabs shall be used and shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9271.
5.2.2 Substrate size. 150mm ×.200mm × (4 ~ 6) mm. Substrate quantity. 4 pieces in each group, including 3 test plates, leave sample plates

5.3 Test Plate Preparation
The preparation of test plates shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of JG/T 23.
