1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, certificates of conformity and ordering of magnetic ring carbon steel and alloy steel forgings for steam turbine generators.
This standard is applicable to forgings such as the center ring, fan ring, small retaining ring and water tank pressure ring of power station turbine generators. This standard does not apply to non-magnetic rings.
2 Reference standard
GB 223 steel and alloy chemical analysis method
Ultrasonic flaw detection method for JB 1581 steam turbine, turbine generator rotor and spindle
Magnetic powder inspection method for JB /ZQ 6101 forged steel parts
JB /ZQ 6117 mechanical properties test method for steel products
3 Ordering requirements
3.1 The purchaser shall specify the forging grade, the steel for forgings, the standard number and other additional requirements.
3.2 The acquirer shall provide a roughing pattern indicating the position of the test specimen for mechanical properties.
3.3 Forging grades and steel grades shall be marked as follows on the drawings.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Manufacturing process
4.1.1 Smelting and pouring
4.1.1.1 Steel for forgings shall be smelted in an alkaline electric furnace or an open hearth furnace. Other smelting methods may also be used with the consent of the purchaser.
4.1.1.2 For grade 3 forgings with a wall thickness of 65 mm or more, and for forgings of grades 4-8, the molten steel used shall be vacuum treated or other refining methods may be used to remove harmful gases.
4.1.2 Forging
4.1.2.1 Each ingot should have sufficient removal to ensure the quality of the forging.
4.1.2.2 Forgings shall be formed on presses, forging hammers and rolling mills with sufficient capacity to allow the entire section of the metal to be fully forged.
4.1.3 Heat treatment
4.1.3.1 Forgings shall be annealed or normalized immediately.
4.1.3.2 Performance heat treatment is quenching and tempering (16Mn can be normalized and tempered), and the final tempering temperature of the forgings should not be lower than 560 °C.
4.2 Chemical composition
4.2.1 The chemical composition of molten steel shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.
4.2.2 The allowable deviation of the product analysis exceeding the upper and lower limits of the specified value shall comply with the requirements of Table 2.
Table 1 Chemical composition of steel
Note. The cross-sectional area refers to the maximum cross-sectional area after roughing of the forging (excluding the center hole) and should be perpendicular to the original steel ingot or billet axis.
4.3 Mechanical properties
4.3.1 The tangential mechanical properties of forgings are not to be less than those specified in Table 3.
Table 3 Mechanical properties
4.4 Non-destructive testing
4.4.1 Forgings shall not have cracks, scratches, folds, shrinkage holes and other impermissible defects.
4.4.2 After the demand side is finished, all surfaces shall be tested for magnetic particle. The length of the magnetic mark is not allowed to exceed 4 mm.
4.4.3 Forgings shall be subjected to ultrasonic inspection after performance heat treatment. The initial sensitivity equivalent diameter is 2 mm, and the single defect is not allowed to be greater than
The diameter is 4 mm, allowing a single defect of between 2 and 4 mm equivalent diameter to be less than or equal to 7. Any two adjacent defect spacing is greater than the most
5 times the diameter of the large defect, the bottom wave attenuation value is not more than 6 dB.
5 Inspection rules and test methods
5.1 Chemical composition analysis
5.1.1 The supplier shall sample and analyze the molten steel of each furnace to determine the percentage of the elements specified in Table 1. The measured chemical composition shall be reported to the demander.
5.1.2 The purchaser can take a forging from each smelting furnace number for product analysis. The sample for analysis can be taken from the wall thickness of the full-length extension of the forging
At 1/2, it is also possible to take samples from mechanical properties.
5.1.3 Analysis method According to the provisions of GB 223.
5.2 Mechanical properties test
5.2.1 The tensile test is carried out according to the JB /ZQ 6117 method.
5.2.2 The supplier shall cut the mechanical test ring at 1/2 of the wall thickness of the extension of one end of the forging, and take 2 diameters of 12.5 mm at the relative position of the test ring.
Standard round specimen with 50 mm gauge and 2 Charpy V-type test rings.
5.3 Non-destructive testing
5.3.1 Magnetic particle inspection is carried out according to the JB /ZQ 6101 method.
5.3.2 Ultrasonic inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the method of JB 1581.
5.4 Retest and reheat treatment
5.4.1 If the test result of any sample does not meet the specified requirements, and the defect is not due to the brittle fracture or crack of the steel, it is desirable to
The two samples adjacent to the sample were double-retested. The test results of the two samples shall meet the specified requirements.
5.4.2 If the result of any mechanical properties of the forging is still not in compliance with the requirements after the retest, the supplier may reheat the forging
Reason. Reheated forgings shall be tested in new forgings. If the consent of the purchaser is not obtained, the reprocessing shall not exceed two times.
However, the number of re-tempering of forgings is not limited.
6 Acceptance and Certificate of Conformity
6.1 The supplier shall provide the necessary inspectors with the necessary convenience for the inspector to carry out the work. The acquirer has the right to select certain items for re-inspection.
6.2 After the forging is inspected by the supplier, if the demander re-inspects and discovers the impermissible defects during the processing, the acquirer shall promptly notify the supplier.
The two sides negotiated to resolve.
6.3 At the time of delivery, the supplier must provide a certificate of conformity to the acquirer. The certificate of conformity shall include the following.
a. order contract number;
b. ordering number;
c. melting furnace number;
d. Forging card number;
e. standard number;
f. Forging grade number;
g. chemical composition analysis results;
h. Mechanical performance test results;
i. Ultrasonic test results.
7 signs, packaging
7.1 The supplier shall mark each forging with the contract number, furnace number, part number, etc., and circle it with white paint.
7.2 The surface of the forging should be coated with a peelable rust preventive to prevent corrosion during transportation.
