Foreword

HY/T 203 "Terms of Seawater Utilization" is divided into 4 parts. ---Part 1.Seawater cooling technology; ---Part 2.Seawater desalination technology; ---Part 3.Seawater technology for big life; ---Part 4.Seawater chemical resource extraction and utilization technology. This part is part 4 of HY/T 203. This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This part was proposed by the Tianjin Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization Research Institute of the State Oceanic Administration. This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Marine Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC283). This section was drafted by. Tianjin Institute of Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization, State Oceanic Administration. The main drafters of this section. 1 Scope

This part specifies the professional terms involved in the extraction technology of seawater chemical resources and the deep processing technology of related products. This part is applicable to production, scientific research and related standard formulation, standard revision, books and related technologies in the comprehensive utilization of seawater chemical resources Document writing, etc.

2 Technical terms for salt production from sea water and brine

2.1 Solar salt production 2.1.1 Salt production by solarization process The process method of using salt fields to evaporate and concentrate seawater, making brine by grade, and making salt by crystallization. 2.1.2 Brine concentration The amount of salt per unit volume of brine in grams per liter (g/L). Note 1.The brine in this standard refers to the aqueous solution with sodium chloride as the main component formed by the concentration of seawater. Note 2.In production, it is generally used to determine the Baume degree (°Bé) to convert the corresponding brine concentration. 2.1.3 Brine concentration rate brineconcentratingrate In the case of no permeation, the volume percentage of brine after concentration and brine before concentration. 2.1.4 Saturatedbrine At a certain temperature and pressure, the brine when sodium chloride dissolves and crystallizes in equilibrium. 2.1.5 Supersaturatedbrine At a certain temperature and pressure, the mass concentration of sodium chloride exceeds the saturated concentration of brine. 2.1.6 Dead ballast salt fixedsalt In the process of solar crystallization, the salt formed without turning over the crystalline salt layer. 2.1.7 Live ballast salt rakedsalt In the process of solar crystallization, the salt formed by periodically flipping the crystalline salt layer. [GB/T 19420-2003 definition 5.1.5] 2.1.8 Saltgypsum Calcium sulfate dihydrate precipitated in the process of salt production.
