3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
A device used to recover the hydraulic energy of concentrated brine in the reverse osmosis desalination system and convert it into the influent hydraulic energy of the membrane.
3.2
The ratio of the total energy output by the energy recovery device to the total energy input.
3.3
The ratio of the high-voltage output energy of the energy recovery device to the total energy input to the energy recovery device.
3.4
The ratio of the increase in salinity of the high-pressure effluent water caused by the mixing of concentrated brine and raw water when passing through the energy recovery device.
3.5
Because the raw material water is partially mixed with the concentrated brine when passing through the energy recovery device, the ratio of the increase of the water concentration in the reverse osmosis membrane.
3.6
