4.3.2 The insulation resistance, which is measured on the electrical control
device of the filter press, during the insulation resistance test, shall not be less
than 1 MΩ. The electrical control device shall not have breakdown discharge,
during the withstand voltage test.
4.3.3 When the filter press is used in an environment, which has explosion-
proof requirements, the electrical part shall comply with the relevant
requirements of GB 3836.1; moving parts with relative friction and impact are
not allowed to produce sparks.
4.3.4 For the filter pressure, which automatically hold pressure through
hydraulic tight pressing, the hydraulic system shall be equipped with a safety
device.
4.3.5 A fully automatic filter press shall be equipped with safety protection
facilities, such as emergency (temporary) shutdown devices, safety light
curtains, etc.
4.4 Requirements for materials and purchased parts
4.4.1 For the materials of the part of the press filter, which is used in the food,
beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries, in contact with the material,
they shall comply with the relevant national regulations on medicine and food
hygiene.
4.4.2 The materials and purchased parts, for manufacturing the filter press,
shall comply with the relevant standards AND have the supplier’s inspection
certificate. If there is no certificate, it must be inspected by the quality inspection
department, before it can be used.
4.4.3 The materials, which are used to manufacture the filter press, are allowed
to be replaced by materials, which have the same or better performance;
however, it must be approved by the design department.
4.5 Requirements for main parts
4.5.1 The requirements, for the main parts of the filter press, shall meet the
requirements of the relevant standards.
4.5.2 For the austenitic stainless steel welded parts of the filter plate and filter
frame, they shall be subject to the tendency test of intergranular corrosion; there
shall be no tendency of intergranular corrosion.
4.5.3 The filter plate and filter frame shall meet the requirements of JB/T 4333.3.
4.5.4 The membrane filter plate shall meet the requirements of JB/T 4333.4.
4.6 Appearance quality requirements
4.6.1 The appearance of the product shall not have obvious defects, such as
dents, roughness, other damage.
4.6.2 When the filter plates and filter frames, of the side beam filter press, are
compressed, they shall be arranged neatly. The misalignment size of two
adjacent filter plates shall not be greater than 3 mm; the maximum misalignment
size of the filter plate of the whole machine shall not be greater than 10 mm.
4.6.3 Exposed pipelines for electrical, hydraulic, cleaning, air blowing, etc., shall
be compactly and neatly arranged; fixed with pipe clamps. There shall be no
distortions in the pipe.
4.6.4 The color tone of the bluish-treated parts shall be consistent; the
protective layer of the plated parts shall not fall off.
4.6.5 The quality of the painted surface shall meet the requirements of JB/T
7217.
4.6.6 The signs shall be flat, firm, not skewed.
4.6.7 Anti-corrosion requirements: Filter presses, which are used in corrosive
environments, shall be subject to the anti-corrosion treatment. For filter presses,
which are used in the food industry, sanitary grade anti-corrosion treatments
shall be applied to the parts, which are in contact with the materials.
4.7 Configuration requirements of filter press
4.7.1 Filter presses are divided into side beam filter presses and suspended
beam filter presses, according to the support mode of the filter plate. The filter
press is divided into a piece-by-piece plate shifting filter press and a quick
opening filter press, according to the plate shifting method.
4.7.2 The filter press is equipped with automatic plate shifting device, filter cloth
retraction-extension device, filter cloth rapping device, filter cloth cleaning
device, liquid collection device, filter cake storage device, filter cake drying
system, automatic control system, as required.
4.7.3 For filter presses, which are equipped with automatic plate shifting device,
a hand-controlled pause device shall be set at a place that is easy to operate,
so that the plate action can be stopped and resumed at any time, according to
the operation needs, during the whole process of unloading the filter cake by
the sealing condition of the exposed surface connection of the hydraulic device.
5.6 Noise
The noise shall be tested, in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 10894.
5.7 Cleanliness of hydraulic system
The cleanliness of the hydraulic system is tested, in accordance with JB/T 6418.
5.8 Deviation of filter belt
For the filter press, which has a filter belt walking mechanism, the filter belt runs
continuously for three cycles, at the maximum operating speed. For the mobile
type endless filter belt, the deviation is measured, at the thrust plate and the
compression plate, taking the maximum value. When the endless filter belt
performs small cycles, the deviation is measured at the top, taking the
maximum value.
5.9 Electrical control device
5.9.1 The insulation resistance test and withstanding voltage test of the
electrical control device shall be tested, in accordance with the test methods
specified in GB 5226.1.
5.9.2 The electrical control device, which is used in the explosive gas
environment, shall be tested, according to the test method specified in GB
3836.1.
5.10 Intergranular corrosion of stainless steel welds
The intergranular corrosion of austenitic stainless steel welds shall be tested,
in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 4334.
5.11 Appearance quality (misalignment of filter plate)
The filter press is pressed at the rated pressing force; the reference line is
drawn, based on the pressed wallboard and the thrust wallboard as the datum.
According to the principle of equal division, take measurements at five points of
the adjacent filter plates (each plate is measured, when the number of plates is
less than 10); calculate the misalignment deviation of the adjacent filter plates;
h - The depth of the filter chamber, in meters (m).
6 Inspection rules
6.1 General
The inspection of filter press is divided into exit-factory inspection and type
inspection.
6.2 Exit-factory inspection
6.2.1 Each product shall be inspected by the manufacturer and be
accompanied by a certificate of conformity, before it can leave the factory.
Under special circumstances, the inspection can also be carried out, at the user
site, according to the agreement between the manufacturer and the user.
6.2.2 Each filter press shall be subject to the exit-factory inspection. The filter
press shall be inspected, in accordance with Table 3, when it leaves the factory.
6.3 Type inspection
6.3.1 Type inspection shall be carried out, in one of the following situations:
a) When the new product or the old product, after trans-plant production, is
subject to trial type identification;
b) After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, materials,
and processes, which may affect the product performance;
c) It shall be carried out once a year, during the formal production;
d) When the production is resumed, after suspension for more than 1 year;
e) There is a big difference between the exit-factory inspection results and
the last type inspection;
f) The national quality supervision agency puts forward the request for type
inspection.
6.3.2 The inspection shall be carried out, in accordance with the requirements
of Table 3, during the type inspection.
