Ocean Observation Data Format
1 Scope
This standard specifies the content and data file format of conventional operational ocean observation data files. Including. marine station (point) observation data,
Buoy observation data, volunteer ship observation data, shore-based radar observation data, standard ocean profile observation data and GPS observation data.
This standard applies to the storage, exchange, transmission, processing, retrieval, statistics and management of data records obtained from conventional operational ocean observations.

3 Terms, definitions, symbols and codes
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1
Normal Operational Ocean Observation
According to the plan, ocean observations are carried out for long-term continuous operation, and the observation contents are mainly hydrological and meteorological elements.
3.1.2
Record format
The content of the data items contained in the data file and the rules for the storage location, storage order and storage method of each data item.
3.1.3
Raw data
The first-hand data obtained by observing and calculating various hydrological and meteorological elements on the spot.
3.1.4
Real-timedata
After the observation data is obtained, it will automatically transmit and provide the used data immediately.
3.1.5
Delayed-modedata
After the observation data is obtained, it is not automatically transmitted and provided for use immediately, but through the observation data acquisition unit and data management units at all levels.
Level of quality audit data.
