Foreword
The GB/T 9999 "China Standard Serial Number" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. CN;
--- Part 2. ISSN.
This section is Part 1 of GB/T 9999.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This section partially replaces the CN part of China Uniform Serial Publication Number GB/T 9999-2001 "China Standard Serial Number".
The main technical changes compared with GB/T 9999-2001 are as follows.
--- Modify the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2001 edition);
--- Modified normative references (see Chapter 2,.2001, Chapter 2);
--- Modified terms (see 3.1 and 3.2, 3.1.2 and 3.2 in.2001 edition), added related terms (see 3.3~3.7), deleted no

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 9999 specifies the structure and format, distribution and management, printing and display position of a uniform serial number in China.

Domestic Unified Number
The unique code assigned by the administrative department of publication of the State Council to serial publications published within the People's Republic of China.

Usually have a number, no scheduled end date, a fixed name, a continuous volume or a publication published by the division.
