This standard is equivalent to international standards ISO 3668.1998 "Paints and varnishes paints --- visual colorimetric" (in English).
This standard replaces GB/T 9761-1988 "Paints and varnishes - Visual comparison of color."
The previous version of Standard GB/T 9761-1988 main technical differences are as follows.
--- 1988 Edition system equivalent to ISO 3668. 1976;
--- Assess the quality of different methods of artificial light;
--- Different than the color box inside painted desired color representation;
--- Check whether the observer with color vision defects different methods;
--- Increase the size of the test plate, and increases for larger test panels use a colorimetric gray shroud formed to meet the requirements of the viewing area
