1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for DC cycle meters for nuclear reactors.
The corresponding test methods.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
DC period meter
A device that measures the time constant of an exponentially varying DC current.
Note. The output signal is a voltage signal, proportional to the inverse of the time constant (hereinafter referred to as the period). The proportional relationship is specified by the manufacturer.
3.2
response time
The time required for the output signal to reach 90% of its final value for the first time after an exponentially changing DC current is input.
3.3
Full scale value
The output voltage signal corresponding to the reciprocal of the absolute value of the shortest period within the measurement range.
