Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 8063-1994 "Casting Nonferrous Metals and Alloys Grades".
Compared with GB/T 8063-1994, the main technical changes in this standard are as follows.
--- Modify the scope of application of the standard and increase the casting of zirconium and zirconium alloys (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1994 edition);
--- Added terms and definitions for alloying elements, rare earth elements and ultra-low clearance elements (see 3.1, 3.2, 3.3);
--- Increased examples of casting pure zirconium and zirconium alloys (see Chapter 6);
--- Revised examples of casting magnesium alloys and titanium alloys (see Chapter 6,.1994, Chapter 5).
This standard was proposed and managed by the National Foundry Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC54).
This standard is drafted by. China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation 725 Institute, Shenyang Foundry Institute.
