This standard and GB/T 6977-1986 compared to the main changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the ethanol extract, ash, vegetable matter, determination of total alkaloids insoluble content of washed wool.
This standard applies to all types of washed wool, other animal hair washing can also refer to use.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
With ethanol as a solvent, scoured wool material from the surface or internal organization extraction.
3.2
Wash wool by 750 ℃ \u200b\u200bresidual material ignited.
3.3
Wash wool surface adhesion of seeds, crushed grass clippings, spiral burr, seeds and hard head branch and other substances.

Under controlled conditions, scoured wool dissolved in the sodium hydroxide solution to remove any residual material insoluble ash after drying.
