This standard replaces GB/T 6865-1986 "Language Proficiency Code", compared with the GB/T 6865-1986 The main changes are as follows.
a) the name of the standard "language proficiency Code" to "language and foreign language proficiency exam class code";
b) according to GB/T 1.1-2000 requirements of the original standard was revised and formatting structure, increasing the foreword and introduction;
c) increasing the foreign language exam class code, and gives foreign language exam class code table.

Introduction
In order to more accurately reflect the level of foreign language related personnel, this standard increased foreign language exam class code.
