Foreword
GB/T 6115 "Series capacitors for power systems" is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. General;
--- Part 2. Protective equipment for series capacitor banks;
--- Part 3. Internal fuses.
This section GB/T 16115 Part of.
The partial modification using IEC 60143-1 "Series capacitors for power systems - Part 1. General" (2004, in English).
The main difference between this part of IEC 60143-1 are.
--- Insulation withstand voltage of the capacitor units and capacitor means and in compliance with the GB 311.1 GB/T 311.2-2002's.
This Part replaces GB/T 6115.1-1998 "Series capacitors for power systems - Part 1. General - Performance, testing and rating
Safety Requirements Installation Guide. "
This section compared with the GB/T 6115.1-1998, the main changes are as follows.
--- Increasing the number of terms and definitions, such as the degree of compensation, no-fuse capacitor bank, the level of protection, power frequency withstand voltage, sub-section and so on;
--- Inter-terminal test voltage is determined there is a great change, the abolition of the AC voltage test;
--- Routine tests added "internal fuses discharge test";
--- Cancel the type approval test "Internal Fuse Test";
--- Added Appendix "series capacitor banks estimated economic loss";
--- Added Appendix "fuse technology and capacitor cell configuration of the capacitor bank";
--- Rating in the selection, installation and operation guidelines, add a lot of content;
--- Increasing the typical platform-to-ground insulation level insulator;
--- Added creepage distance requirements;
--- Increasing the standard lightning impulse withstand relations and standard operating voltage and the minimum distance between the air;
--- Increasing the voltage curve between the pitch and the air exchange frequency tolerance.
Appendix A of this section is normative appendix, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E is an informative annex.
This part is proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.
This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee Power capacitor (SAC/TC45) centralized.
This section is drafted. Xi'an Institute of Electric Power capacitors ABB Xi'an Power Capacitor Co., Ltd.
The main drafters of this section. Li Huaiyu, Liu Jing.
This part of the standard replaces the previous editions are.

Series capacitors for power systems
Part 1. General
1 Scope and purpose
This part of GB/T 6115 is intended to apply to AC transmission line connected in series or distribution lines, become frequency
Capacitor units and capacitor banks an integral part of the AC power system of 15Hz ~ 60Hz.
This section applies to the transmission.
Series capacitor units and capacitor banks are usually intended for access to high voltage power system. This section applies to the entire voltage range.
This section does not apply to self-healing metallized dielectric type capacitor.
Even following a capacitor connected in series with the circuit does not apply to this section.
--- Induction heating device with a capacitor (GB/T 3984.1);
--- AC motor capacitor (GB/T 3667.1);
--- Power electronic capacitors (GB/T 17702);
--- Tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamp circuits capacitors (GB 18489 and GB/T 18504).
Standard type insulators, switches, transformers, fuses and other external attachments shall comply with the relevant national standards.
Note 1. There are additional requirements in the fuse protection and internal capacitor fuse requirements see GB/T 6115.3-2002.
Note 2. The external fuse protection for additional requirements for external capacitors and fuses are specified in Annex A.
Note 3. The separate standard accessory series capacitor (spark gap and nonlinear resistors, discharge reactors, damping reactors current limiting, damping resistors, circuit breakers, etc.) is
GB/T 6115.2-2002. Internal fuses capacitor in series with the standard GB/T 6115.3-2002.
The purpose of this section is.
--- Formulating performance, testing and rating of the uniform requirements;
--- Develop specific safety rules;
--- Install and run the Guide.
