3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Β- amylase can be completely degraded starch product.
3.2
Samples extracted from 1g enzyme 1L solvent, under specified conditions, the degradation of β- limit dextrin substrate per 1.024 × 10-5 units
Solution, α- amylase activity of the sample as a unit.
Principle 4
α- β- amylase degradation limit dextrin substrate solution, the enzymatic reaction process, respectively, at different times aliquots of the reaction mixture was added iodine
Solution. With the reaction time, the reaction mixture of iodine and reduce color intensity to determine enzyme activity.
