Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 5509-1985 "grain and oilseeds test powder magnetic metals assay."
This standard and GB/T 5509-1985 main technical differences are as follows.
--- Increasing the scope of this standard;
--- Canceled a standard method of operation 2.2 "Magnet Law of Attraction";
--- Canceled a standard method of operation of the rinsing solution --- carbon tetrachloride;
--- Original standard "magnet suction unit 12kg" to "120 milli-Tesla magnetic induction (mT)";
--- Increased operating method for processing residual sample and the magnetic metal plate separating mixtures by magnet separation;
--- Increase in the "evaluation" process sample flow rate through the drip model specified time;
--- Original standard formula of "mg/kg" replaced by "g/kg";
--- In the "apparatus and appliances" column adds "separating plate" and its technical parameters;
--- In the "apparatus and appliances" column abolition of the "horseshoe magnet" and technical requirements;
--- Increase the informative appendix "separation plate schematic" (see Appendix A).
Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex.
The standard proposed by the National Food Authority.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee OILS.
This standard is drafted by. National Food Reserve Chengdu Grain Storage Research Institute.

Inspection of grain
Powder magnetic metals determination
1 Scope
This standard specifies the flour magnetic metal grain measurement principle, apparatus and appliances, and the result of the calculation procedure.
This standard applies to wheat flour, rice flour, glutinous rice flour, corn flour and various cereals flour food nutrition powder product-containing magnetic metal
Determination of the amount.

GB 5491 Inspection of grain oilseeds for sampling, and sample method
Principle 3
Electromagnet or permanent magnet to which the magnetic field having a magnetic metal separated from a crude sample, then small permanent magnets
The magnetic metal separated from the residue of the sample mixture out to calculate the content of the magnetic metal objects.
4 apparatus and appliances
4.1 magnetic metal detector. magnetic induction strength of not less than 120mT (milli-Tesla).
4.2 Separation plate. 210mm × 210mm × 6mm, a schematic diagram in Appendix A, the magnetic flux density of not less than 120mT.
4.3 Balance. dividing the value of 0.0001g.
4.4 Balance. dividing the value of 1g, the largest weighing more than 1000g.
4.5 Weighing paper. sulfuric acid paper or absorbent paper is not easy.
4.6 White. about 200mm × 300mm.
4.7 brush, large ear wash ball, scoops and other said.
5 steps
5.1 said sample
5.1.1 for sampling and sample decimation performed in GB 5491.
5.1.2 Weigh the sample (m1) 1kg, accurate to 1g from the average sample dispensing.
5.2 Determination
5.2.1 Analyzer separation
Open magnetic metal detector (4.1) of the power supply, the sample is poured into a measuring instrument Sheng powder hopper, press through a magnetic switch. Adjust the flow control plate
Knob to control the sample flow 250g/min or so, so that the sample uniform by drip into the reservoir model pink box. The sample stream to be finished, wash the ear
Balls remaining on the drip template sample powder is blown into the storage tank and then connected with a clean white mobility analyzer model below, through closed magnetic switch, stand
That brush with the hair net adsorbed on a magnetic metal mobility model (containing a small amount of the sample), and collected on a place of white paper.
5.2.2 Separation plate separator
The collected paper-magnetic metal and the sample mixture remaining in a prepared separation plate (4.2), the hand-pulled two paper
