This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
The reference standard ISO 4156-3.2005 "Straight cylindrical involute splines (Metric module, side fit) - Part 3. Test" and
GB/T 3478.5-2008 "Straight cylindrical involute splines (Metric module, side fit) - Part 5. Inspection" in preparation.
This standard compared with GB/T 5106-2006, the main changes are as follows.
--- Added "part-toothed ring gauges pass", "part-toothed ring gauges pass with proof plug," "non-full gear through the end plug" Three Kinds of gauge;
--- An increase in the measurement of the workpiece spline path, external splines large diameter smooth limit gauge;
