This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 5000-1985 "Daily-Use Ceramic Terminology." Major technical changes compared to GB/T 5000-1985
as follows.
--- Modified 17 generic terms (see Chapter 2, Chapter 1 of the 1985 edition);
--- Added 2 general terminology terms (see Chapter 2);
--- Revised 11 terms of raw materials and auxiliary materials (see Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the 1985 edition);
---Increase 10 terms of raw materials and auxiliary materials (see Chapter 3);
--- Deleted 1 terminology for raw materials and auxiliary materials (see Chapter 2 of the 1985 edition);
--- Modified 29 process terminologies (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the 1985 edition);
--- Added 17 terminology terms for the process (see Chapter 4);

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the daily ceramics.
This standard applies to daily-use ceramics.
2 General terminology

Greenbody
Green
After forming unsintered ceramic semi-finished products.

Fetal body
Non-glazed, non-cosmetic soils that constitute ceramic products after high temperature firing.

Glaze glaze
A thin layer of glass covering the surface of a ceramic carcass.

Glaze-bodyinterlayer
