This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 3303-1982 "Defective Terminology of Daily Ceramics".
Compared with GB/T 3303-1982, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Modify the scope of the standard (see Chapter 1);
--- Modified 7 generic terms (see Chapter 2, Chapter 1 of the 1982 edition);
--- Revised five noun terminologies for product defects (see Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the 1982 edition);
--- Increased 9 terms of product defect nouns (see Chapter 3);
--- According to relevant British and American standards, some English terms have been revised.
This standard is proposed and managed by the China Light Industry Federation.

1 Scope
This standard defines the terms and definitions of defective ceramics for daily use.
This standard applies to daily-use ceramic products.
2 General terms

Flatware flatware
Ceramic products with a depth of less than or equal to 25 mm from the mouth of the product to the lowest level in the interior.
2.2
Hollowware hollowware
Ceramic products with a depth greater than 25 mm from the mouth of the product to the lowest level in the interior.

Large hollow products biglowlowware
A hollow product with a capacity greater than or equal to 1100 mL.

Small hollow products smalholowware
Hollow products with a capacity of less than 1100 mL.
