Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 4780-2000 "Automobile Body Terminology". Compared with GB/T 4780-2000, the main technical changes are as follows. ---Modified the classification of automobile body terms and applicable models (see Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the.2000 edition); ---Modified the Chinese name, English corresponding words, definitions, drawing numbers and applicable models of design terms (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2000 edition); ---Modified the Chinese name, English equivalent, definition, drawing number and applicable models of structural terms (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.2000 edition); ---Modified the Chinese name, English corresponding words, definitions, drawing numbers and applicable models of the part terms (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.2000 edition); ---The appendix term is deleted, and the related content is merged into the part term (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2000 edition). This standard specifies the terms and definitions of automobile bodies. This standard applies to M and N cars.
