1 Scope
This document applies to electric toothbrushes for cleaning teeth. Rechargeable electric toothbrushes for adults and children and dry battery electric toothbrushes
Toothbrushes are within the scope of this document.
The test items involving performance indicators in this document are listed in Chapter 4.
This document only specifies the test method and does not set any limits.
Note. Electric toothbrushes are classified as follows.
According to the power supply method, it is divided into the following types.
---Dry-cell battery powered electric toothbrush.
---Rechargeable electric toothbrush.
● Wireless rechargeable electric toothbrush;
● Corded rechargeable electric toothbrush.
According to the movement mode, it is divided into the following types.
---Rotary electric toothbrush.
---Reciprocating electric toothbrush.
● Linear reciprocating electric toothbrush;
● Rotary reciprocating electric toothbrush.
---Vibrating electric toothbrush.
