1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and model compilation, materials and structure, performance of domestic and commercial gas clothes dryers
Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, warnings and installation instructions, packaging, transportation and storage.
This document applies to town gas for the purpose of drying clothes, textiles and similar items, with moisture discharged to the outside, with a rated heat load
Household gas clothes dryers with a rated heat load of no more than 100 kW and a single drying mass of no more than 25 kg;
Commercial gas-fired clothes dryers with a secondary drying mass not exceeding 150kg.
This document does not apply to gas-fired clothes dryers for industrial use.
