This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document modifies ISO 11177.2019 “Valves with internal and external enamels for use in untreated drinking water supply systems”
Quality requirements and test methods for valves and pressure pipe fittings.
Compared with ISO 11177.2019, this document has more structural adjustments. The structural number changes between the two documents are shown in the table below.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 11177.2019 and their reasons are as follows.
--- Deleted the normative references EN15771, ISO 13807, ISO 15695, ISO 6370-1, ISO 6370-2,
ISO 16474-1, ISO 16474-2 (see 5.3, 5.4, 5.9, 5.10, 5.11 of ISO 11177.2019) to adapt to my country's standards
system;
--- Added normative references GB/T 16422.1 and GB/T 16422.2 (see 5.11) to adapt to my country's technical conditions, and added
Operability;
--- Increased the scope of application (see Chapter 1) to adapt to my country's technical conditions;
--- Deleted some terms (see 3.3 of ISO 11177.2019) to adapt to my country's technical conditions;
--- The test specimen (see Chapter 4 of ISO 11177.2019) has been deleted to adapt to the technical conditions of my country;
--- Added the test method for enamel surface quality (see 5.1) to increase operability;
